If you love hockey with some bad boy romance like me, here is your chance to read Playmaker

He knows every play in the book. But she’s calling the shots.

I’m Maddox Ledger, all-star winger and the reason the Charlotte Strikers killed it in the playoffs. Yeah, the tabloids like to call me arrogant. A real hothead. All I see is a guy who plays to win. Wreaking havoc on the ice, breaking a few hearts—that’s all just part of the game. And I’m sure as hell not sitting on the bench.

When my teammate asks me to be in his wedding party, I can’t refuse. Lucky for me, the bridesmaid I’m paired with is the definition of eye candy, but she’s so much more than that. Lacey Easton is totally irresistible and she makes me want to be a better man. A glimpse of bare shoulder takes me back to a steamy, two-week Vegas tryst I can’t forget. One I’m eager to repeat.

Suddenly our one-night stand is turning into the sequel. Still, Lacey’s keeping secrets. She doesn’t trust me. And maybe I deserve it. But I know more than she thinks I do and there’s no chance I’m letting her get away—or letting another guy take what is mine. This time, I’m playing for keeps.

I love anything hockey. Well, anything hockey, football, and books. So of course I had to get my fingers on this bad boy.

Hunky leading man ✔️

Story ✔️

Happy ending ✔️

It had game. It had anger. It had jealousy. It had love. Sex. Family. Revenge. The list goes on.

I give it 5/5 since the story was so cute, and had my favorite sport. Well written!

Book Review – Hot as Puck by Lili Valente

Ok, romance and hockey in the same book? Yes, please!!! Not only was the story itself flipping adorable, but the main guy, Justin, is now my book boyfriend. He is hot, he is caring, he loves needlework (yes, crocheting, even hotter), he is good to his friends . . . Even Libby, the girl next door he grew up with.

Synopsis for Hot as Puck:

The NHL’s biggest bad boy is about to fall for the virgin next door…

I am the world’s biggest dating failure. We’re talking my last date went home with our waitress kind of failure.

But I have an ace in the back pocket of my mom jeans – my sexy-as-sin best friend, NHL superstar forward, Justin Cruise.

Justin owes me favors dating back to seventh grade, long before he became a hotshot with a world famous…stick. So in return for my undying platonic loyalty, all I want is an easy-peazy crash course on how to be a sex goddess.

How hard can it be?

I have never been so hard in my life.

The things I want to do to my sweet, kindergarten-teaching, mitten-crocheting best friend Libby Collins are ten different kinds of wrong. Maybe twenty.

But, I’m a firm believer in teaching by example, and by the end of our first lesson, we’ve graduated to a hands on approach to her sexual education; my hands all over her, her hands all over me, and her hot mouth melting beneath mine as I prove to her there isn’t a damned thing wrong with the way she kisses.

Give me a month, and I’ll transform Libby from wall flower to wall banger, and ensure she’d confident enough to seduce any guy she wants.

Problem is…the only guy I want her seducing is me.

Now, I have to say, that book grabbed my attention right away when I first met Lili Valente at an author event for the Fifty Shades of Grey premiere. She was lovely to talk to, and I was just giddy to get my hands on this book lol. The cover model is hot, and the story was adorable (and hot).

If you like comedy, romance (with erotica in it), a hot guy, and sports, all wrapped up in a pretty little package, this book is for you!!!
