Synopsis for The Brook
There’s something evil lurking in the waters of the mountain streams, and only ten year-old Michael Wilson knows how to stop it. Can he kill the creature and save the residents of Sampson, Tennessee, or will he become the monster’s next meal?
My Review for The Brook
Living with a river almost in my backyard, hearing the water moving, I feel this book. There is something about the water that is not only calming, but creepy with the right setting. What was the creature exactly? It was described as a vampire, I was thinking it was some sort of mermaid that lives in a small body of water, not the ocean. But, a part of the story threw my idea out of the window. What exactly was that creature? Read it, and tell me what you think.
