Review of I Call Him HIM

I am still fairly new to the apocalypse genre in books, and this one did not disappoint me.  It was dark, it was brutal, it was . . . AMAZING! HIM being dark and mysterious, and all it takes is a girl to get him to talk.  I admit, I fell in love with him.  I do have my faves.  And I have to add HIM to my list of characters that intrigue me.  Scott did amazing at this story, and I hope he writes more books!

About Scott Kimak

“My name is Scott Kimak and I’m from Harlingen Texas.

The idea for “I call him – HIM” came to me nearly forty years ago when I was only thirteen years old.  At that time I tried to write the first page and failed miserably.  Flash forward to the summer of 2018.  I decided to give it a second shot and the words flowed unrestrained.”

Synopsis for Bounty Hunter

Desa Kincaid has spent the last ten years in pursuit of a man whose experiments have killed over a dozen people.

Blessed with the power to transform ordinary objects into devastating weapons, she journeys through trading ports, backwater towns, forests, deserts and the haunted remains of a dead city.

But can she stop her enemy before he unleashes something terrible on the world?

My Review

I love anything with bad@$$ women.  Desa, for sure, is on my list of female characters that I love to follow.  I mean, R.S was able to bring in readers who were never interested in this type of genre, and they are craving more! It has magic, it has fight scenes, it has the support for the LGBTQ, it has suspense . . . Do I need to go on?
