Day 7 of #31AuthorsofHalloween – David McMullen-Sullivan

About David McMullen-Sullivan

“I grew up on the outskirts of Orlando, FL (“Mickey adjacent”). Although my background is in medicine and computer science, writing has always been my first love. That being said, I feel like a “late bloomer” as far as writing goes since it has only been in the last five years that I have produced anything. I have finally finished my “Moorehead Manor” series. The last book, “To the Dark Room of Souls”, was published just recently. Now – hoping to clear my palette of the horror genre – I’m planning to venture out into sci-fi or fantasy. There are a few stories fighting it out in my head. We’ll see which one wins!”

Synopsis for Moorhead Manor

Three teenagers stumble into a haunted mansion that traps them in a deadly nightmare. In order to escape alive, they must uncover the house’s dark secrets of murder and prejudice.

My Review for Moorhead Manor

I have always loved anything haunted. And, of course, when I saw the cover, I immediately got it just because of the cover. I did not even read the synopsis, I just dove into the story. I went in blind. I loved the tragic story behind the house. As a mom, a mom of teenager, it hit me hard. I do not want to give away too much. But, the twists and turns, the emotions, everything in this story will hit you right in the gut. If you are into these types of stories, it will not let you down!

  1. Lacy,
thank you so much for your very kind review. If you ever get a chance to read any of the other two books, I’d love to hear your feedback.
